Today I talked with students individually about their explorer research. I encouraged them to take some time and look up a timeline on their explorer to add or verify specific important dates. Example: I just googled "Marco Polo Timeline". When results popped up I chose the one from softschool.com . This gave a concise organized overview of the explorer's life and accomplishments. Students can then begin writing their speeches.
